Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities: Financial Planner / Adviser

Client Acquisition: Prospecting new clients through networking, referrals, and social channels.

Financial Needs Analysis: Conducting formal fact-finding and risk assessments to match clients with proper investment, retirement, and insurance products.

Portfolio Maintenance: Servicing existing client books, handling annual reviews, and managing policy changes or renewals.

Compliance: Operating strictly within FAIS regulatory guidelines, disclosure requirements, and code of ethics.
Client Support: Managing day-to-day office correspondence, scheduling, and processing client documentation.
System Processing: Capturing data and managing portfolios via platform tools like Sanlam and Glacier systems

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Requirements: Financial Planner

Qualification: Matric (Grade 12), relevant NQF Level 5/6 financial qualifications, or recognized FAIS credits.

Regulatory Exams: Completed RE5 key individual/representative regulatory examination.

Experience: 2+ years in financial services, wealth management, or insurance sales.

Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and entrepreneurial drive
