Duties & Responsibilities

Work with our existing book of clients – meeting with them regularly to review their portfolios and offer professional, tailored financial advice.
Actively prospect and bring in new clients to grow our already substantial client base.
Build strong rapport and trust with clients by delivering excellent service and practical solutions.
Develop comprehensive financial plans that cover investment strategies, retirement planning, estate planning, and tax optimisation.
Assess clients’ risk tolerance and recommend suitable investment and risk products.
Provide ongoing advice and maintain regular communication with clients.
Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell relevant financial services.
Collaborate effectively with various Financial Service Providers (FSPs) and internal teams to resolve queries and deliver seamless service.
Stay up to date with market trends, economic developments, and changes in financial legislation.
Network with professionals, attend industry events, and participate in marketing initiatives.
Ensure full compliance with industry regulations and maintain accurate client records.
Prepare regular reports for both management and clients.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Matric plus a relevant tertiary qualification in Finance (NQF5 Wealth Management or BCom) – Non-negotiable
RE5 qualification – Non-negotiable
Relevant Class of Business approvals in place
Fit and Proper status
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Financial Planning
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Experience working with professionals and high-net-worth individuals (big advantage)
A valid Driver’s Licence and own vehicle – Non-negotiable
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
A proactive, client-focused mindset with high ethical standards
Previous book of clients is not required – we’ll support you to grow and succeed.

Package & Remuneration

Competitive basic monthly salary plus commission.
