Independence Day gives us a chance to pause.
Maybe that means fireworks.
Maybe it means a cookout.
Maybe it means sitting somewhere quiet for a few minutes while no one asks you whether something is covered.
However you spend it, I hope you get a little room to breathe.
Holidays matter because they interrupt the regular rhythm. They remind us that work is important, but it is not the only thing.
So enjoy the holiday.
Rest if you can.
Laugh with people you love.
Eat something that probably came off a grill.
And when the weekend is over, we'll get back to the work of helping people understand the promises, limits, and responsibilities that come with insurance.
