Use of Artificial Intelligence During Times of Conflict The Law Library of Congress is proud to present the report "Use of Artificial Intelligence During Times of Conflict." This report, prepared by staff of the Global Legal Research Directorate of the Law Library of Congress, surveys regulations concerning the use of artificial intelligence (AI) during conflicts in 22 selected jurisdictions. It also covers international rules. In particular, the report focuses on whether specific legislation on AI has been enacted or proposed; rules on the use of AI in the context of cyber warfare and cybersecurity; internet and social media use during conflict situations, including terrorist attacks; enhanced facial recognition of people during times of conflict; and the existence of special AI-based parliamentary procedures in case the legislature cannot meet as usual.
