New Times/Siena Polls in 5 Senate States

This morning, we released new New York Times/Siena polls of the Senate races in Alaska, Iowa, Kansas, Ohio and Texas.

The polls found Democrats performing strongly in five reliably Republican states where they are trying to flip Senate seats to win control of the chamber. Read more →

In The Tilt, Nate Cohn writes that Democrats may have found the recipe for flipping red-state Senate away from President Trump’s party: “At a time when Mr. Trump is very unpopular, Democrats have nominated popular, relatively moderate candidates against surprisingly unpopular Republicans.”
