This position is located in the Office of the Librarian, Office of the Chief of Staff Congressional Relations Office. The incumbent serves as an expert Legislative Analyst responsible for performing authoritative legislative research ensuring that information is current and accurate. The incumbent assumes responsibility for planning, coordinating and carrying out approved projects and informs the Director of progress as appropriate. The Legislative Analyst reports to the Director, Office of Congressional Relations. Responsibilities require the incumbent to engage with personnel work and confidential management situations with and on behalf of the Librarian of Congress and congressional oversight committees.
