After Universal revived "The Mummy" this week, another classic franchise is being brought to a new generation: "Gremlins." Warner Bros. revealed on its earnings call this morning that "Gremlins 3" will release in theaters in Nov. 2027. In other far-off releases, the "KPop Demon Hunters" sequel is aiming to launch in 2029, as Netflix and Sony Animation finalized their deal. The news comes right before tomorrow's Grammy nominations, where the movie's hit song "Golden" is expected to land a nod or two. Finally, this morning Lionsgate released the first trailer for the Michael Jackson biopic, starring the King of Pop's nephew Jaafar. It recreates some of Michael's most popular moments in his career, like the "Thriller" music video, his iconic moon walk and more. -- Jordan Moreau |
