Just a few years after going all-in on EV's the company has now hit a milestone of selling 100,000 electric vehicles in the country in the first 9 months of 2025. This now makes Vinfast the best-selling automotive brand in Vietnam - gas or electric. (Link) OCPP 2.never? 🤔: OCPP 2.0.1 was released in 2020. Five years later, in Q4 2025, CPMS provider Monta estimates that industry adoption is still below 1%. The protocol promised major improvements to the EV charging experience, yet industry adoption has lacked. One comment here rings true to us: "Some EV DC charger OEMs struggle with software — it's simply not part of their DNA. As a result, they lag behind, and without their active evolution, there's no real path to achieving OCPP 2.0.1 adoption at scale." If you're one of those charger OEMs - don't fret.
